A: Bamboo Fun is a regular drawing tablet which you hold in your hands and draw on with a pen, so the drawing appears on your computer screen. The Cintiq is a different thing - it is not a drawing tablet but a full size (or larger than usual) computer display monitor which you hook up to your computer, and you draw on the screen itself with the pen. This is the reason it's around twenty times more expensive. :) I find my Bamboo Fun more than adequate.
