Q: Hi, I'm thinking about buying some Parker Pens, one as a gift and one for myself. Would this be a good brand of quality pen to buy? If so, what type would be the best/why are they different? Fountain | Gel Roller | Ball Point And does anybody know approximate prices (in NZD or USD)
A: Parker pens have always been good. I have a few. However, you will have to make up your own mind about fountain, gel roller, ball point etc. Fountain pens require the least amount of pressure on the paper (from your hand) to make them work- so in this way they are the easiest to use because they create the least hand fatigue. However not many people use them these days. Ball points are the hardest to use because they require more pressure. parker pens start at about AU$8 in Big W supermarkets.
