A: The design argument states that because of the intricacy of the world, it must have a designer/creator, meaning that there must be a god. Issac Newton compared it to a watch. It's such a detailed thing and it has a designer. The weakness to the argument is simply "Who created God?" The argument of causation is all about everything having to have a cause. Everything that happens has a cause. It can't just be that something appears out of nowhere. This disproves the theory of God because God would need to have something which 'caused' Him.
