A: A striving for natural or godly perfection. The beauty of the human body. When you compare Roman and Greek sculpture, you see Roman human character captured in the art. Greek sculpture does not have that human personality. In Greek architecture, you see it blended into the environment. Greeks used natural formations to guide the building, say, of an amphitheater. Romans altered the environment to suit their building.
