Do other artists notice this-especially those who do photo-realistic drawing/painting?

Q: i have been a photo-realistic artist since i was a kid. i've noticed this tendency-when i'm not drawing or painting, i find myself focusing on lights or shadows or parts of objects and just looking at them without realizing it. it's like my brain is caught on parts of objects as though i would be when i am drawing or painting something. i think somehow i have changed my brain slightly because of my drawing over the years.

A: Yes, wherever I am, I tend to look at things artistically. I am drawn to scenes I would like to paint and wish I had a paintbrush in my hand right then and there. When painting or art is in your blood, you just can't help but look at things differently than someone not artistic.
